The scenario is all too familiar. You are scrambling to pack a lunch and opt for the easiest option: sandwich, chips, fruit, biscuits and a drink.
But let's face it, dull as lunch is not likely to generate oohs and aahs of your son or daughter. (Heck, you would not make it very happy with it.) "Many parents think that I just want to get through the day so they give these chips or bars that are really treated," said Liz Applegate, director of sports nutrition at UC Davis.
